.Mac is a good thing

I have to admit that I was quite worried about the direction Apple was taking when I heard about .Mac. However, I was willing to hear them out. After the Macworld NY keynote, I was still a bit skeptical. This article has changed my mind. .Mac is a good thing.

All of the bad old Mac users who were enraged by the announcement of .Mac are a bunch of freeloaders. They don’t seem to understand that their beloved Apple will cease to exist if they don’t make money.

Microsoft meddles in Peruvian politics

Microsoft’s actions in Peru are unconscionable. However, what really disgusts me is that the U.S. government is using my money to lobby another government on Microsoft’s behalf.

Falling on deaf ears?

It’s nice to see editorials like Hacking, Hijacking Our Rights. Of course, that’s assuming that they even hear about it. Am I too pessimistic?

DMCA Wins Again

Woohoo!

Jaguar

Mac OS X.2 looks like it’s going to be a huge improvement over X.1 (which, by the way, I think is already wonderful). Apple really seems to be spending a lot of time on the little things that the Mac is known for.
