Im 30 and i remember groups like new kids and bell biv devoe. At that time i could turn on a radio and hear the same shit i hear today it was just fresh at that time.
rap was underground and coming up then there came grunge to wash out the hair bands .there were differences in all these same styles of music and room for the bubblegum shit it seemed that after that it all went to hell ,MTV became to powerfull and if you want to blame anyone for the state of music today blame clearchannel i'll tell you why . They control Radio all over the country and in some parts of the world one group of shitbirds are sitting in a board room right now Choosing the music that will be Played on every radio station in the country.
they pick the music then throw a sponser on it slap it on the ass and throw it down your face .
So heres the plan for the Revolution . Fuck radio and fuck MTV . Make it fun to be a music fan again Support you local bands go to concerts at clubs , the record labels are shaking in there boots because of Kazza and p2p so there not going to take a chance on the new sound because they are scared to fall on there ass . AND THEY WILL and that will be a great day for music. I saw a show on the idiot box and there was a piece with moby and he said ( the days when rockstars and music execs become millionares are over) and maybe that is what we need to flush out all the Pre fab bullshit.
