iRiver iHP

A co-worker just told me that her iRiver iHP should be arriving today. Pretty impressive.

Pothole wins pothole vs. wheel

Does anyone know how to file a claim for damages with the Illinois Department of Transportation? I hit a really nasty pothole on Willow Road in Cook County on Saturday night. Knock-open-your-glove-compartment nasty. Anyway, now I have a bent right front wheel that's causing loss of tire pressure. MINI Cooper R85 wheels are not cheap.

Budget sucks!

After reading this story about Budget Rent-a-car screwing Ming the Mechanic (via Doc Searls), I can tell you that they're not getting any money from me.

Master & Commander

I think Jenn and I are going to see Master & Commander this weekend. It sounds like (via John Robb) an excellent movie.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Sorry that I haven't written much in a while. Big changes over the past couple weeks or so. The About page definitely needs updating.

ProFont

Thanks to Scoble for pointing out ProFont (warning: the site is really slow), a monospace font designed for programming. I am trying it out in BBEdit and Terminal. I'm pleased so far.
