Verisign sues ICANN

Verisign is suing ICANN for shutting down Site Finder.

"This brazen attempt by Icann to assume 'regulatory power' over Verisign's business is a serious abuse of Icann's technical coordination function," said Verisign in the lawsuit which was filed at a Los Angeles court.

Wait a second. Isn't it ICANN's job to be a 'regulatory power'?

Maybe I'll sue the U.S. government for assuming regulatory power over me. I hate when they tell me not to do bad stuff.
