Apple is finally selling a multibutton mouse. Since I don’t use a mouse with my PowerBook, I probably won’t be buying one. I really want to try it out to see how it works, though.

My old M$ Optical Mouse is on it’s last legs… this could be perfect timing…
MIGHTY MOUSE?
snicker
Well it’s about f$%*ing time. OSX has been right-clickable and scrollable since at least 10.2. Why didn’t they make this mouse when they introduced OSX? As usual, this Apple product costs about 4 times more than it should.. there’s no way I am spending $50 on a mouse. I love the $20 MS mouse I have and I’m keeping it.
That scroll-ball is intriguing, at least. It’s annoying to view or edit large images like photos and be able to scroll vertically with the wheel, but then have to drag scrollbars to scroll horizontally.
Great idea. Stupid name. Bad price. That about covers it…
Looks like Apple let the mouse out before they managed to iron out the bugs. After reading this, I’ve lost interest in purchasing one of these… Especially at $79.99 CDN.
…er, for some reason, the href tag didn’t take. The “this” I refer to in the previous comment is here: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050806042924384&lsrc=osxh
Best $45 I’ve ever spent on a mouse. I couldn’t be happier with mine.
$45? We should be so lucky, up here…
You don’t find the buttons overly touchy, miscommunicated, or unresponsive?
I played with one at the Apple Store the other day and really liked it. The roller ball was awesome. Unfortunately, they can’t keep them in stock so I’m on a wait list.

Well to be honest I kind of expected all of that. But the features work as advertised and more importantly, the feel, is excellent.
