I like distribution of programming via iTunes better, because it’s also portable. Now they just need to make shows I’m interested in available. Battlestar Galactica would be a good start.
Ask and you shall receive.
But since it’s now rather simple to rip DVDs for use on the video iPod (and on the computer, since I don’t have a video iPod), I think having the shows on DVD would be preferable.

But..but…its only good if its OLD Battlestar Galactica…with Lorne Greene. :D
Is there another??
Have you watched the original lately? It’s terrible.
Flame away, Paul.
Actually… Binky and I recently finished watching the first season on DVD. I gotta admit… I still have my issues with the storyline changing, but on its’ own, I’m enjoying the series (and not just because I find the neo-Starbuck Katee Sackhoff tasty to look at…).
Haven’t seen any season 2 yet. We poor Canuckleheads don’t get stuff as fast as you do. I’m hearing sometime in February. Maybe.
I’d say worse than terrible. Although the coloring book was fun when I was three.
But the original had Lorne Greene. He was the man. THE MAN, I tell you. Admittedly, I was more of a ‘Buck Rogers’ kind of girl myself…but…Lorne Greene. The MAN.
I think that says it all right there.
I watched Battlestar Galactica when I was kid. I also watched Star Wars. I liked them both. Loved, even. I even had action figures from both shows. I used to make them fight it out… Much fun. I kinda miss those days.
At the same time, I haven’t seen the new Star Wars episodes, NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM, nor have I bothered to watch the new Battlestar Galactica shows.
You know what? I don’t feel bad at all. I feel like, I haven’t missed anything at all.
Meanwhile I’ve moved onto more mature productions. (Like.. Mad Max.)
It’s nice to know that someone around here is all grown up.
