Since I switched to a one-column layout for my site, I’ve been trying to figure out where to put some of the links that were in the sidebar of my old layout. Tonight I put together a little sliding menu. I’m not happy with the design and code (especially the XHTML/CSS). But I figured that I’d throw it out there for your feedback.

I think it pretty much rocks.
You may need a rethink of either the nomenclature or the use of an icon. It’s not entire clear what “open menu” means at first glance. Otherwise – I love it!

I didn’t like it at first (something about it just didn’t… “feel” right), but the more I come back here, the more I like it.
Ever consider making a sidebar-style one for the rest of the info you had? You’d retain all the original info, yet still have the singular style you’re going for…
