Rejoice, my fellow web developers! Microsoft has finally learned the error of its ways.

We’ve decided that IE8 will, by default, interpret web content in the most standards compliant way it can. This decision is a change from what we’ve posted previously.

Of course, the skeptic in me is asking in what other way Microsoft plans to screw us.
