Twenty years after The Legend of Zelda
It’s hard to believe that it’s been twenty years (via Slashdot) since The Legend of Zelda was released. The first time I ever saw it was over at Matt Walker’s house. He was the kid with all the cool toys. I don’t remember much about that particular moment. But I do know that for many weeks afterward, we were totally enthralled by the world held inside that gold cartridge.
This little online version of Katamari Damacy is a complete waste of time. And a lot of fun, too. (via Digg)
Gates of Ahn’Qiraj
I’m not usually one to play games, but I’ve really gotten into World of Warcraft lately. A few days ago, the population of the server called Medivh managed managed to open the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. Someone made a really cool video of the event (via Slashdot).

Beer pong going mainstream
According to Slashfood, beer pong is going mainstream. What a bunch of poseurs. We were doing this way before it was cool. Back then, it was all about the beer, man.
